I woke up feeling congested in my chest and throat, cough, slight earache and headache but I have ?

migraine syndrome to begin with so the headache is pretty normal for me, but my voice is also half gone. What is this? Feels like a respitory infection almost but I'm not sure. Could it be, or something else?

cannot see my family doctor until Monday afternoon.

ANSWER:

Some of those symptoms are flu like - the congested chest, cough, earache and headache. But they could well be a virus, which should clear up in a week. Only a doctor could define what your illness is better.
Until then, the best thing to do is stay hydrated, eat food that will build you up (lean beef is ideal) and plenty of antioxidants (dark colored fruit, dark green veg, white tea has more than green). If need be, take some pain killers.
